This summer’s production of Princess Diana the Musical was such a rousing success that we are bringing it back this fall! Audiences fell in love with the show: 94% rated the show as “Very Good” or “Excellent,” and 85% said they were “Very likely to recommend the show to a friend.”

Princess Diana the Musical follows “The People’s Princess” on her journey from an unknown 17-year old to the most famous woman in the world. The story focuses on Prince Charles and Diana from their courtship and marriage to their divorce and that fateful day in August of 1997.

After Diana’s death, ardent admirer, songwriter and playwright Karen Sokolof Javitch composed over 30 original songs about the princess to expressed her grief. Ms. Javitch teamed up with award-winning author Elaine Jabenis to write a script to accompany her songs, and Princess Diana the Musical was born.

Featuring everyone from Princess Diana and Prince Charles to Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, the Queen Mum, Fergie and Prince William, Princess Diana the Musical reflects the charm, grace, compassion, and—of course—style that was Diana.

“We are still so saddened by the death of this wonderful woman who gave so much to the world. Writing Princess Diana, The Musical is our way of trying to keep her memory alive,” say Javitch and Jabenis.

The Pioneer Press interviews McKayla Marso, the actress who plays Princess Di, on what it’s like “to step into such an iconic figure’s slippers.” Read the story…
