Please join us for a great night in The Cabaret at Camp. They have a wonderful theater, which we will take full advantage of. We will have a full Heavyweight card, featuring Laurie Lindeen, Danny Klecko, Michael Kleber-Diggs, Sammi Jones, and Barb Jones. Hosted and Curated by Mark Berriman.

Laurie Lindeen is an essayist, professor, mom, author of the memoir “Petal Pusher”, and founding member of the band Zuzu’s Petals. Her latest essay will be featured in the NYT Sunday Review on Aug. 27th.

Klecko can usually be found in the company of bakers, boxers and Russian Supermodels. He also believes there is a 40% chance that he is Ernest Hemingway reincarnated.

Michael Kleber-Diggs is a poet and essayist. He was a Fellow with the Givens Foundation for African-American Literature and a Winner of the Loft Mentor Series in poetry. His work has appeared online, in books and newspapers, in light-rail train cars, on buses, coffee sleeves, and radio stations.

Sammi Jones is the author of “Derby Girl”. She got her start in roller derby in 2010 when she joined the Fargo Moorhead Derby Girls. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has written for a variety of publications. She skates for Minneapolis’s North Star Roller Derby.

Barbara Jones is a poet, writer, editor and lawyer, more or less in that order. She was born in St. Paul nearly 64 years ago and lives there still. She gave up prophecy for a while after the November election but has rebounded.

Mark Berriman is an author, a poet and artist, and former Publisher of The Stillwater Gazette. His newest book, “That Turned Ugly Fast”, features a foreword by two time Academy Award nominee, Viggo Mortensen. www.markberriman.com
